THE BLACK HERITAGE FESTIVAL updated 01/14/2013

Members of the Jackson House Foundation, Inc. will be sponsoring a booth at the 13th Annual Heritage Street Festival hosted by the Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival. The Street Festival will take place January 19-20 at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in downtown Tampa. The event will be open from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm both days with an estimated attendance of 6,000 members of the community. If you are planning to attend, please stop by the Jackson House Foundation's booth to show your support.


JACKSON HOUSE KICK-OFF CEREMONY updated 07/29/2011

A kick-off ceremony will be held at 9:00 am Saturday, August 6th at 851 E. Zack St. to bring community awareness to the Restoration the Historical Jackson Rooming House. The day's activities will include removing several palm trees and debris around the perimeter of the home. Mr. Willie Robinson, Jr. (owner) hopes that volunteers will help with the work. Come show your support and help restore a downtown landmark.
